Discussion Questions for Session Four

1. When you first believed, you were joined with Christ. How was your life altered? How did this affect Christ?

2. Read Gen: 39:6-12: Why did Joseph flee?

3. What things are appropriate (and not appropriate) to do or have in the temple of God?

4. What does it mean: "you are not your own?? Can someone find true liberty and not belong to God?

5. We ought to glorify God in our bodies (T/F). If selfishness is your way of life, are you a slave to sin, or worse a slave to Satan?

6. What are the two mighty motives for holiness set forth in the verses we have been considering? Select 2 of the four:

   • God will give me blessings on earth for being obedient.

   • The value of Christ's blood.

   • I don't want to disappoint my parents/family/friends.

   • The fact that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
